to decorate a tree

merry christmas and happy holidays to all!

i venture to michigan again for the holidays, and bring lots of bird ornaments with me.

everyone have a wonderful holiday and may it be bright and cold and snowy. or not if you live in a place where it doesn't snow.

Hey! I recognize some of those fabrics! :) I didn't remember that I gave you those, oh I'm so happy. That little red flower one, what did I make with that??

These are the sweetest birdies. Did you find the design or design it yourself, little girl? They will look quite regal on someone's tree.

Less than a week and you will be here!

did you give me some of these?? i have a memory of something, but i got a lot of these fabrics at local thrift stores and fabric stores. a lot of them are actually fabric samples i ordered while in school for projects. which i can still do as a designer!

wow, my hands are frozen from working in my cold studio.

and of course thank you mamma! i actually got this design from a sheet set and decided to make them into ornaments!

can't WAIT to be in the mich!!
loves.

Have fun in Mich again! Love the ornaments- I'd love to see them on one tree with lights before you give them away.

I just put YOUR ornament on OUR tree this week, Lesley! I love seeing it there, knowing YOU are a memory on our tree. :)

Oy, I love all the birds. I must buy a few for next Christmas. Sorry, this year we are pinched for money. Critter would love the birds, too. I recently discovered that he really loves birds. He bought a ton of birdseed and suet to hang around our yard and yesterday really enjoyed looking at all the birds chowing down. He's almost never home during the day, so it was nice for him to see the birds enjoying his feast. We spotted a Downy Woodpecker!
